Enrollment Plan

Enrollment number：10 students for full scholarship in 2023

When the course starts

Study period: 3 years for Junior college students (2 semesters per school year). Spring semester: from March to June (January& February are winter vacation). Autumn semester: from September to December (July &August are summer vacation)

Who to apply

1. Non-Chinese citizens aged from 18 to 25, graduated from high school in good health, abide by Chinese laws and regulations and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people.

2. High school or equivalent education; Certain skill of English or Chinese is preferred，

3.Interests in learning Chinese and some understanding of Chinese culture, society and economy，

4. Certain family economic capacity of supporting life and transportation costs other than scholarships.

5. Willing to learn technical skills in China.

When to apply and what to submit

1.     When to apply

Perennial application. Monthly response will be given on last day of each month. June 10th is the deadline of application for the current academic year and the admission notice for the next academic year will be issued on July 15th.

2. What to submit

1) Application form for foreign students to study in GVTCC.

Please log in the website (http://www.gsjtxy.edu.cn) to download the form, fill, print and scan it after signing.

2) Scanning copies of high school diploma and notarized materials (in Chinese and English).

3) High-school seniors must be issued the expected graduation certificate by their school, and have to submit the scanned copy of the high school graduation certificate and notarial document after being admitted.

4) Scanned copy of all course transcripts and notarization documents (in Chinese or English) in high school.

5) Applicants with a Chinese language foundation must provide HSK certificate and transcript scanned copy, and submit the original copy for review after admission.

6) 1 visa scanned copy and 1recent photo (white background, 35mm×45mm).

7) One scanned copy of recent (within 30 days) FOREIGNER PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM. After being admitted, the original copy must be submitted and re-examined in the local entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau of our school.

②The college may request the applicant to provide supplementary materials or interview the applicant by phone/video according to the situation.

How to admit

Application Deadline: June 10^th, 2023.

After receiving applicants’ electronic materials, the college will pre-admit the applicants at 150% of its enrollment based on their nationality, high school grades and HSK scores. The college will review and interview the applicants who get electronic pre-admission notice on June 30^th and post printed application documents.

Formal admission notice will be issued to the interview-qualified applicants on July 15^th.

How to register

1. The college will issue the GVTCC admission notice the admission notice and the visa application form for foreign students JW202 to those who are been admitted to our college.

2. Those who have been admitted to our school should register according to the school stipulated time with the GVTCC admission notice the admission notice and the visa application form for foreign students JW202 form on time with the following materials:

1) Application form for foreign students to study in GVTCC.；

2) Valid passport and visa;

3) High school diploma or school certificate and notarized materials of local notary public institutions, and other awards.

3. If the admitted student fails to register on time, he/she should ask for leave from the school for no more than two weeks. Not coming more than two weeks, he will lose eligibility for admission. Students are qualified for formal admission organized by GVTCC before passing the physical examination in local entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau.

Teaching arrangement

1. The applicant will directly start the professional study with the certificate of HSK4 or above after passing the interview. Or he /she must study Chinese till reaching the corresponding language level at first.

2. 1 year Chinese language focused on foundation course and minor specialized basic course. The professional courses are learned after passing the HSK 3 test. During the second and the third academic year, professional courses, technique courses and professional practice are provided.

3. GVTCC issues a certificate in English and Chinese after passing the course and papers.

Life on the campus

1. Accommodation：2 people share a 24㎡unit with a toilet and good facilities. Each equipped with beds, wardrobes and desks. Water heater, shower room, washing machine and network are all ready in each dormitory.

2. Public facilities: self catering kitchen, equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, kitchen table and cooking utensils. Public washing machine room.

3. Accommodation fee: free water and free electricity 100 degrees one month for each, and the excess part will be charged according to school criteria (CNY 0.60/ degree).

4. School canteen sells three meals a day (with halal canteen), and students can buy with a campus card. The canteen food is about CNY 600/ person in one month. You can spend as you like.
